Company IT security policies and procedures certified to national security standards
STRATHAM, New Hampshire – April 26, 2022 – Position Imaging, Inc.a pioneer in parcel logistics and asset tracking technology, today announced that the company is a ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified supplier whose Information Security Management System (ISMS) has received third-party accreditation from the International Organization for Standardization.
ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is an information security management system standard published in October 2013 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). This certification shows that Position Imaging has met rigorous international standards in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of customer information.
A-LIGN, an independent third-party auditor, found that Position Imaging had technical controls and formalized IT security policies and procedures in place. To achieve this certification, Position Imaging had to implement several security measures and countermeasures that protect it from unauthorized access or compromise, and the IT staff proved to be conscientious and aware of best practices.
