While members of the police department show dedication on a daily basis, some incidents or investigations rise to the level of a reward. Each year, staff are nominated by their supervisors and a review committee determines which incidents or investigations will receive a departmental award.

Police Chief Frank LoSacco invited residents to the ceremony to support and meet local heroes.
